Faithful Enemies is a story about four military soldiers, and their families, who all became the best of friends. Bonds were formed that they could only assume would be unbreakable, that is, until one of their own found out that M.T.P.S. (Military Tactical Protection Services) had kept a secret about its protective gear and uniforms, which were supposed to keep soldiers from injury during combat and non-military personnel safe while at work. Thereafter, different paths would lead them to Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Many of them accepted life-altering offers they could not refuse. Others made decisions that would drastically affect their lives forever. Their relationships with each other would change quickly, and take a turn for the worse, in the blink of an eye. They would find out all too soon, that blood is not thicker than water, revenge is justice for a woman who has been betrayed, and family bonds are solely dependent upon heartfelt loyalty. Acts of anger, jealousy, and envy, bring about dire, unavoidable consequences. You may have heard the expressions: "Pray for your enemies," or "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer," and "Few things in life will cause you grief more than family." Think about those who have been in your life. Do you put them in the category of enemy, friend, or family? If you cannot make the separation, or distinguish between the three, what decisions will you make when you are surrounded by Faithful Enemies?
