Just as life and death are universal, yet individual, so is grief. Journey Through Grief takes us on one woman's five-year experience with the emotional aftermath of the death of her husband of 65 years. The author chronicles her grief journey through poetry, essays, journals and musings that are personal to her, yet universal to all those who have lost someone they love. She introduces us to the intermittent "grief storms" that descend suddenly like tornadoes and sweep away everything except the grief. Life changes and lessons learned may help others going through a similar experience.

This book was a quick read. A great book written by a 90-year-old woman, Shirley Blumberg, about her grief after the death of her husband. Well worth the read!
